Overview

Mews houses aren’t usually known for their sense of space. Cranley Mews VII, tucked away in South Kensington, makes a convincing case otherwise, unfolding over three levels with a statement curved staircase at its heart and a small private garden to call its own.

That staircase is the home’s signature, its sweeping wooden handrail curving from the first floor through the entry level and down to the lower ground. At the bottom waits a snug, the coziest room in the house and an inviting place to curl up after a day out in the city. Every level is impeccably designed and remarkably well proportioned, and as the owners are devoted art lovers, the walls are hung with pieces well worth pausing over.

Two bedrooms, both with air conditioning, suit couples, friends, families, and business travelers alike. A small private garden, wrapped in greenery, adds some outdoor space to your stay, something few homes in this part of London can offer.

Step out of the cobbled mews and Old Brompton Road is right there, lined with neighborhood cafés, restaurants, and bars, with Fulham Road and Gloucester Road close by for more to explore. The museums of Exhibition Road and Kensington Gardens are part of the neighborhood too, and South Kensington and Gloucester Road stations are both within walking distance.

  • This home accepts babies, toddlers and children, but does not accept pets.
  • Due to a built-in system to provide high water pressure, some minor noise can be heard when the water is running.
  • There is an exercise bike in the second sitting room that is available for experienced users.

Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late
check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage
was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service.
More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
