Blending country cottage charm with sleek city sophistication, the four-bedroom Vernon Street is a wonderful base for a family break in the capital. Nestled on one of Kensington’s quiet residential streets, this delightful townhouse is bursting with individuality; its bold colours and striking patterns are a visual treat.
Close to both Baron’s Court and West Kensington tube stations, you can easily explore London’s most renowned districts during your stay. Of course, Kensington High Street is always within easy reach if you feel like stretching your legs. This bustling street offers an excellent array of great cafés and restaurants, not to mention plenty of opportunities for a spot of retail therapy.
The expansive Vernon Street unfolds over four spacious levels. On the first level down you’ll discover the colourful open-plan lounge and kitchen, seamlessly flowing from one room to the next. On sunny afternoons, the sitting room is bathed in natural light that pours in from its sliding doors, beckoning you to step outside and soak up the glorious weather. You’ll find a lovely bistro table set in the garden, ideal for your morning coffees or a tasty al fresco lunch.
Take the steps back up to the entrance level and you’ll stumble across the second and third bedrooms, both with king-sized beds; both have their very own ensuite bathroom for added convenience. The master bedroom takes up the home’s second level, boasting a sumptuous super king-sized bed, and a private bathroom with a gorgeous soaking tub – just what you need to unwind after a busy day exploring the city. Meanwhile, the fourth bedroom comes complete with a king-sized bed and a small bathroom. Hidden away on the top floor, this cosy room is perfect for teenagers and children who enjoy having their own space.
This home accepts babies, toddlers and children.
This home doesn’t have air-conditioning. Between June and September, we’ll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you’d like fans outside the summer period.
This home is spread over four floors with no internal elevator.
There is no wardrobe in the fourth bedroom but there is a hanging rail provided.
The entrance hallway in this home is narrow.
Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund.
Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late
check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.
Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage
was caused during your stay.
Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.
Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service.
More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.
Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
