Islington has always had a unique ambience. It’s a vibrant, multi-cultural neighbourhood that has retained its village feel balanced with a cosmopolitan atmosphere. Down its side streets, you’ll find artisan bakeries selling the freshest, tastiest breads and sweet pastries. For a wonderfully authentic pub with an Asian twist, the Tamil Prince is well worth a visit for its food and great selection of ales. Your dedicated concierge can arrange table reservations for a special family meal. A delightful way to finish the day is with a stroll around nearby Thornhill Square, a classic London square surrounded by magnificent Victorian London townhouses.

Hemingford Road IV is an elegant Georgian terrace house revived with a modern colour scheme and bespoke furnishings. However, you’ll still see many of the home’s original features on display. The sitting room is a bold expression of juxtaposed colours; brightly coloured living spaces flow beautifully together, creating a warm and friendly ambience where guests can mingle or find their own cosy little corner. The kitchen continues the colourful theme with crisp white accented with pops of lime green. The dining room is on the same level as the kitchen and is an ideal place for a family meal or an intimate dinner party. A spacious office is available for business guests.

The bedrooms are divided between the second and third levels, with the king-size primary suite on the top floor. This restful room uses a more neutral colour scheme and mindful décor to create a serene space. The minimalist design motif continues into the ensuite, which offers a walk-in shower. The second guest room is a level down with a double bed and a more boutique feel. An additional bathroom on the entrance level completes the interior layout.

Outside, Hemingford Road IV has an utterly charming private garden with a patio and mature plants, creating a little green oasis in the middle of the city. This delightful home is perfect for family vacations or for business guests who need to be close to the City of London and the capital’s financial districts.

  • This home doesn’t have air-conditioning. Between June and September, we’ll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you’d like fans outside the summer period.

  • This home accepts babies, children and pets, but does not accept toddlers.

  • This home is spread over four floors with no internal elevator.

  • The fireplaces in the sitting room are purely ornamental, however there is a working gas fireplace in the dining room.

  • There will be a hanging rail in the second bedroom for your stay at this home.

  • Half of the underfloor heating in kitchen-dining room is a little bit colder – this can only be felt in the middle of winter, however the gas fireplace provides extra warmth.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late
check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage
was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service.
More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
