Nestled between Westbourne Grove and Portobello Road, this relaxing home is just the spot to put up your heels. Solid wood floors set off bold and cheery artworks, while dreamy hues of tangerine and terracotta lend a distinctly Eastern air. So sprawl on the low-slung Japanese bed, or dash outside and find the hubbub of happy shoppers, sippers and diners.
Like Notting Hill itself, your hostess seldom stops. She jets around Europe frequently, and this pad – which once belonged to her son – is her pretty pied-a-terre.
Up on the third floor, you’ll leave the bustle behind by the time you squish into this home’s dark sofa. Eye the orange accents and graceful white walls, or set about refreshing yourself in the handy kitchen. There’s happiness to be found in the wooden worktops and leafy window view, and four can tuck in heartily at the dusky dining table. Whether you’ve been for brunch at Granger & Co, or browsed Portobello Market, all will be impressed by the Eastern-flavoured double bedroom, to say nothing of the cosy and characterful master.
This home doesn't have air conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period.
There are stairs up to the entrance of this home and no elevator.
The fireplace in the sitting room is ornamental.
The communal hallway shows some signs of wear and tear.
The bed in the second bedroom is a futon. It is lower to the ground than most beds.
This home accepts babies, toddlers and children, but does not accept pets.
The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund.
Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late
check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.
Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage
was caused during your stay.
Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.
Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service.
More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.
Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
