A charming townhouse with oodles of space unfolding across four levels, Kensington Park Road VIII is the ultimate family base for your next London adventure. It’s a fabulous space for groups of friends, too – with two sitting rooms, a lovely garden, and three large ensuite bedrooms, there’s more than enough room for everyone to unwind.
Just a stone’s throw from the lovely goings-on of Portobello Road and its famed street market, you’ll find a whole host of exciting events, attractions, and landmarks within easy reach. Once you’ve explored Notting Hill, the nearest tube station is just a five-minute walk away – giving you unrestricted access to the rest of the city.
A cosy blend of classic Victorian features and modern comforts can be found throughout the home. On the entrance level is the main sitting room, a warm and inviting space complete with lots of comfy seating to snuggle into.
Take the stairs down to the exceptionally bright basement level and you’ll discover an open-plan kitchen and dining room, flowing out seamlessly onto the garden through large sliding doors. Furnished with a big picnic table for al fresco dining, the leafy garden is a lovely spot to sit and enjoy brunch or a few quiet drinks at sunset together.
An elegant master bedroom takes up the third floor, furnished with a king-sized bed and boasting a gorgeous ensuite bathroom with an opulent roll-top bath – best enjoyed with plenty of bubbles and something fizzy in hand. The second and third bedrooms are both set on the fourth floor, offering double beds and ensuite bathrooms – with a classic roll-top bathtub in each.
This home doesn’t have air-conditioning. Between June and September, we’ll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you’d like fans outside the summer period.
Two loveable dogs lives at this home. They won’t be around during your stay, but this home may not be suitable for people with allergies.
There are stairs up to the entrance, and no elevator.
This home is spread over five floors with no internal elevator.
The fireplaces in this home are ornamental.
There are no doors on the en-suites of the second and third bedrooms.
Whilst this home is not suitable for pets & toddlers, the homeowner will consider pets & toddlers on a request basis.
There is limited storage in the bathrooms on the top floor.
There is construction taking place in the house two doors down from this home.
The shower in the third bedroom ensuite drains slowly.
Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund.
Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late
check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.
Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage
was caused during your stay.
Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.
Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service.
More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.
Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
