This elegant London townhouse in sought-after Islington is packed full of personality. With three spacious bedrooms comfortably sleeping up to six guests, it’s an ideal family home for an extended city vacation or for a business stay in an enviable central location.
Islington and the surrounding areas are delightfully cosmopolitan, with many of London’s most-loved cafés, restaurants, cocktail bars, boutiques and galleries (including the excellent Victoria Miro gallery) clustered on and around Upper Street. Despite its proximity to the heart of the city, the area’s charming village feel has led to its being regularly cited as the most desirable place to live in the capital.
Gerrard Road III is the quintessential London townhouse with a stylish twist. This quiet end-terrace home is spread across four floors, with each room adopting its own unique colour scheme and style. The lower level has a cozy second sitting room decorated with a mid-century flourish and a bold chequerboard floor, and a sleek, modern kitchen. The entrance level is home to a generous main sitting room, an elegant dining room, a separate bathroom, and a light-drenched office.
The home’s three bedrooms are split between the second and third levels. The primary suite is a serene space decorated in soft tones, with expansive windows that flood the room with natural light. It features an enticing super-king-size bed and a lavish ensuite with a soak tub and separate walk-in shower. On the third floor the second and third bedrooms both have cosy king-size beds and share a show-stopping bathroom.
Outside, Gerrard Road III has a private garden – a rare feature in this part of the city; it’s a sunny spot for an early-morning coffee and croissant, or for an evening glass of wine after a busy day sightseeing. Nearby Angel tube station offers easy access to the City and West End. Or, travel at a more leisurely pace with a stroll along the Regent’s Canal – explore Hackney and London fields to the east, or head west for King’s Cross and Camden.
Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund.
Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late
check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.
Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage
was caused during your stay.
Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.
Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service.
More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.
Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
