Queensway Station on the Central Line is less than five minutes walk away, opening up all corners of the capital.
Charming white Victorian stucco terraces and manicured green spaces like nearby Hyde Park offer picturesque environs for your stay. A sunset wander through the Kensington Gardens (just minutes from the home) will bring you to the Royal Albert Hall, where your dedicated concierge can book tickets to an unforgettable performance. You’re also close by to the bohemian buzz of Notting Hill, where delicious brunch spots, chic boutiques and some of the capital’s best restaurants sit alongside the vintage fashion and curios of bustling Portobello Road, less than a 15-minute walk away.
The home’s owner is an architect specialising in listed buildings, and accordingly, Caroline Place II has been sympathetically renovated to emphasise the natural light. The living room boasts a coveted bay window, with cosy white seating for laid-back evenings relaxing in this serene space. There’s a practical nook for work check-ins and a sophisticated kitchen-dining space where guests can enjoy sociable cooking sessions. Share meals at the bench-style dining table, where floor-to-ceiling windows reveal that rare find for this part of central London – a sweet paved garden brimming with plants.
The second level houses the elegant primary bedroom with a sumptuous super-king bed and dressing room. Its monochrome ensuite offers a tub with an overhead shower and a walk-in waterfall shower. This level also features another serene bedroom with a single bed and hanging rail. On the third floor are two peaceful, minimalist bedrooms, each with a king-size bed. These share an attractive sky-blue mosaic-tiled bathroom with a fitted tub and overhead shower.
This home doesn’t have air-conditioning. Between June and September, we’ll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you’d like fans outside the summer period.
This home does not accept babies, toddlers, children or pets.
This home is spread over three floors with no internal elevator.
One loveable dog lives in this home. They won’t be around during your stay but this home may not be suitable for those with allergies.
The fireplace in this home is ornamental.
There are several steps up to the front door of this home with no elevator access.
The folding windows next to the dining table in the kitchen cannot be opened.
This home has a paved garden to the rear of the property that is not featured in the listing photos. It is connected to the lower ground floor flat’s garden however they are two separate spaces.
Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund.
Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late
check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.
Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage
was caused during your stay.
Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.
Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service.
More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.
Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
